250 survive plane crash
KANO (Nigeria), SEPT. 5. Around 250 passengers, including Indians
and Pakistanis, and crew escaped unhurt when an Egypt Air plane
from Cairo to Abidjan crash-landed in northern Nigeria, airport
officials and passengers said today.
The plane was attempting to make an emergency landing at the
international airport in Kano, northern Nigeria's largest city,
on Tuesday when it suddenly nose-dived, they said.
