About 138 activists of the SIMI have so far been arrested in
Maharashtra even as police continued to be on high alert.
Of these, 31 were placed under arrest in Mumbai alone, police
said here today. About 63 persons were rounded up from various
parts of the State since Friday, sources added.
Account with J&K Bank
In Ahmedabad, two bank accounts operated by the SIMI have been

One of the accounts was maintained with the Jammu and Kashmir
Bank Ltd., police said adding the source of the funding was being
investigated.
So far only three activists have been arrested under the Unlawful
