Schedule for 'Face-to-face' programme

HYDERABAD, OCT. 3. Several issues confronting the City residents are to come up for discussion during the daily face-to-face programme being telecast by the Siti Channel between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The following is the schedule: Oct.4: A.P. Transco and Telecommunications (power bills, pending telephone connections/billing), Oct.5: Education, Hyderabad district administration (health, schools, land, housing, ration cards), Oct.6: Municipal administration (problems of surrounding municipalities), Oct.8: police (law and order, traffic, crimes), Oct.9: Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (problems of water supply & sewerage).

Announcing the schedule at the face-to-face programme on Wednesday, the Minister for Labour, Mr. C. Krishna Yadav, stated that on October 6 the issues of BRS, permissions/sanctions would be taken up by officials of the MCH Town Planning department from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

He said that the Hyderabad District Collector, Mr. Rajeshwar Tiwari, the City Police Commissioner, Mr. P. Ramulu, the Chief Rationing Officer, Mr. Venkateshwar Rao, the Vice-Chairman of HUDA, Mrs. Lakshmi Parthasarathy, the Hyderabad DEO, the Director of Municipal Administration and the Joint Collector of Ranga Reddy district would be among the officials participating in the daily face-to-face programme to be telecast from Thursday.
