Srisailam reservoir full

KURNOOL, OCT. 10. The Srisailam reservoir is filled to its full level of 885 ft. According to irrigation officials, 2.62 lakh cusecs was flowing into the dam while the discharge was around 3.93 lakh cusecs on Wednesday.

Eight crest gates were opened to a height of 12 ft. The right and left bank power houses were utilising 39,700 cusecs. The Pothireddypadu head regulator was discharging 3,025 cusecs into Srisailam Right Main Canal.

According to information received by the irrigation authorities from the Central Water Commission, the flood situation was going to be steady.
