Win Chadha passes away

NEW DELHI, OCT. 24. One of the key accused in the multi-crore
Bofors case, Mr. W.N. Chadha, died last night following a heart
attack at his Bijwasan farmhouse in South-West Delhi. He was 77.
Mr. Chadha had been admitted to hospital on September 30
following a brain stroke. He was discharged on October 5.
Following the illness, Mr. Chadha had asked for court permission
to go to Dubai to be with his family. The application was due to
be heard on October 29.
