BSF jawan killed
JAMMU, OCT. 30. A BSF jawan was killed in unprovoked Pakistani
artillery shelling in the Panjtari post of Domana sector of the
Jammu region on Monday. Sources said the head constable, Gopal
Ram, was patrolling the area which came under enemy fire.
Pakistani and Indian troops exchanged artillery fire in at least
30 places of Jammu region including Pansar, Rathua, S. M. Pura,
Mehta post and Pallanwalla. Heavy mortar and artillery shelling,
targeting civilian areas and security force installations in
northern sector of Jammu and Kashmir, was reported from across
the border in Karnah sector.
