Indo-EU summit on Nov. 23
BRUSSELS, OCT. 30.For the first time, Indian and European
business communities would present their views jointly to Indo-
European Union (EU) political summit, to be held in New Delhi on
November 23, to enhance the two-way flow of trade and investment.
The summit would bring together the Prime Minister, Mr. A. B.
Vajpayee, and the presidency of the 15-nation EU, currently held
by the Belgium Prime Minister, Mr. Guy Verhofstadt.
The task of drafting the joint recommendations and action plan
for the summit began here on Monday, at a meeting of
representatives of the Indian and European business communities.
