Water supply to be hit for two days

BANGALORE Nov. 17. Water supply to many parts of Bangalore will be affected on November 20 and 21.

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) and the KPTCL are jointly taking up regular maintenance works on November 20, it was announced here on Saturday.

There will be an eight-hour power shutdown on that day in this connection as a result of which pumping in all the three Cauvery Water Supply Scheme Stage I, Stage II, and Stage III will be stopped.

The BWSSB appealed to the people to store adequate water for till normal supply was restored.
