Admission in U.S. varsities made easy
TO HELP Indian students seeking undergraduate and postgraduate admission in U.S. universities, the Software Technology Group (STG) has entered into a strategic tieup with the Student Recruitment Consortium of the President's Network (PresNet) of the U.S.
Under the programme, a student need to submit only one application for any of the 56 universities that come under the network. The student will have to pay a one-time processing fee with no additional cost for mailing postage or separate university fee.
Here is how it works: The interested student goes to the STG Centre and based on his priority, fills up a common admission form with the guidance of the STG Counsellor. The application, with all required attachments, will be forwarded to the PresNet office in South Carolina, U.S., which in turn will process the applications, handle correspondence, and file preparation, translations of credential evaluation, and criteria screening.
At the conclusion of the process, PresNet forwards the files of those students who meet the criteria for acceptance at the institution. Students who do not meet the eligibility criteria of the institution of their choice are offered the option to attend other institutions.
This information will be sent back to STG centre within two weeks of submitting the application. The student will then have to give his priority for the universities. Once the choice is made, the credentials are forwarded to the institution and admission packet processing.
