RANCHI, JAN. 20. The CPI(M) politburo member, Sitaram Yechuri, today charged the NDA Government at the Centre with conspiring to make terrorism an electoral issue during the coming Assembly elections.

Addressing the inaugural session of the party's three- day state-level conference at Bhurkunda in Hazaribagh on Saturday he alleged that an attempt was being made by the ruling BJP to electorally encash on the growing tension along the western border.

However, people have realised this and the outcome of the polls in the four States would be no different from that held in 18 States earlier, said Mr. Yechuri.
