Letters to the Editor
Sir, This is in reference to the statement of the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, that the talks with the VHP on the Ayodhya dispute have failed. I advise those who are hell-bent on constructing a Ram temple at the disputed site to be cautious as they do not seem to know what the repercussions will be if they succeed. One amicable solution to the issue is to build a temple and a mosque side by side and restore the demolished structure. This will not only propagate peace and harmony but also would prevent our country from witnessing bloodshed.
Jayesh Parsottam Gamit,
