48 Maoists killed

KATHMANDU, FEB. 21. At least 48 Maoist insurgents have been killed and 15 others arrested by security forces in western Nepal, the Defence Ministry said today.

In separate encounters, at least 46 Maoists were killed by security forces at Achham, Doti, Kalikot and Dailekh districts on Wednesday, according to a press statement from the Defence Ministry today.
