Krishna Rao new Police Commissioner of Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, FEB. 23. M.V. Krishna Rao will be new Police Commissioner of Hyderabad. The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, took a decision to this effect late on Saturday night.

The Additional DGP (Organisation), K. Sadasiva Rao, will be replacing Mr. Krishna Rao as Additional DGP of Fire Services. The Government has also decided to post the Andhra Pradesh Police Academy Director, Ajit Kumar Mohanty, as the Additional Director-General of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the existing vacancy.

P. Gautam Kumar, has been posted Additional DGP of Vigilance and Enforcement, while H.R. Kataria has been posted Additional DGP (Coordination).

The transfer orders of Ramavatar Yadav who was earlier posted to the National Crime Records Bureau have been cancelled and he is now posted Member of the Commissionerate of Enquiries in the General Administration Department.
