Sir, All international mail and some internal mail sent from India to the U.S. go through radiation machines because of the anthrax scare. Since the aerogrammes are made of recycled paper they do not make it through these machines intact. Very often most of the aerogramme is lost before it reaches the addressee. It is time the postal authorities ensured the aerogramme is made of good quality paper, to avoid disappointments both to the sender and the addressee.
