Singapore ships arrive for joint exercise

By Our Staff Reporter

KOCHI MARCH. 4. Three ships of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) arrived here this morning for an 11-day anti-submarine warfare (ASW) joint exercise with the Indian Navy. Leading the vessels was RSN's prestigious missile corvette, mv RSS Victory. The other ships were RSS Dauntless and RSS Fearless, both anti-submarine petrol vessels.

Naval officer in-charge of Kerala and Lakshadweep, Brahma Swarup, received the ships at the naval base of the Southern Naval Command here. Together with the Indian ships, they will engage in a series of graduated shore-training activities, followed by rigorous ASW exercises.
