Karan Singh appointed JNU Chancellor

NEW DELHI, MARCH 4. The Rajya Sabha member, Karan Singh, has been appointed the new Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

Nominated by the President, K.R.Narayanan, Dr. Singh will hold the office for five years. He will be taking over from M.S. Gore.
