`Masjid panel will consider any plan routed through SC'
NEW DELHI, MARCH 5. The All-India Babri Masjid Action Committee today said it was ready to consider any proposal for the construction of a temple outside the disputed site in Ayodhya, provided it was routed through the Supreme Court.
``We are ready to consider any demand for the construction of a temple in an area outside the graveyard of about 8.5 bighas and 23 plots of Nazul area. But that has to be routed through the Supreme Court,'' its convener, Zafaryab Jilani, told `Star News'.
The construction should be outside the area where `shilanyas' was carried out and the `Ram chabutra' existed, Mr. Jilani said, adding that the Supreme Court verdict was binding on both the VHP and the committee.
