NEW DELHI, MARCH 10. After a brief surge a week ago, inflation fell to 1.32 per cent for the week ended February 23 as against 7.53 per cent in the previous year, triggered by a sharp fall in the price of textile items, fish-marine, eggs, unblended black tea leaf and skimmed milk powder. The point-to-point price change based on the Wholesale Price Index, which rose to 1.39 per cent in the previous week, fell in the latest reported week even as prices rose in the case of bajra, maize, soyabean, coffee powder and solvent extracted groundnut oil. - PTI
