RS member dead

PATNA MARCH 19. The sitting Rajya Sabha member from Bihar, Dayanand Sahay, died in a car accident near Ungta village of Jehanabad district today, police said.

The Additional Director-General of Police (Patna Zone), A. R. Sinha, said Mr. Sahay and his driver died on the spot when their car collided with a vehicle on the Jehanabad-Makhdumpur road at 1.30 p.m. The MP was on his way to Patna. — UNI

RS adjourned to condole death

NEW DELHI MARCH 19. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day this afternoon as a mark of respect to the sitting member, Dayanand Sahay, who died in a road accident in Jehanabad district in Bihar earlier in the day.
