Mumbai, March 26. In a sudden change of mind, police today moved a special court here to drop the POTO charge against the suspected Al-Qaeda terrorist, Mohammed Afroze Abdul Razak, while a city magistrate accepted a plea to withdraw robbery charges in three other cases against him. The special court decided to give its verdict on the plea to drop the POTO charge against Afroze after going through the legal opinion obtained by police in this regard. Afroze now faces one robbery case and a separate charge of conspiracy to blow up key targets in foreign countries. PTI
