IHF juniors gave a spirited performance in the first session and held PSB 1-1 as Mustafa scored the equaliser in the 18th minute after Parminder Singh put the Bankmen ahead in the fourth minute.

The IHF team went into the lead in the 40th minute getting Sandeep to score before Saranjit Singh mounted a late charge for PSB.

The forward scored three goals in a span of just six minutes (49th, 52nd and 55th minutes) and turned the game totally in the Bankmen's favour.
