Rs. 25 lakh donated to Kidwai Institute

BANGALORE April 3. The trustees of the Terry Fox Run Bangalore Registered Trust presented Rs. 25 lakh to the Kidwai Institute of Oncology here on Monday to spearhead a project on oral cancer research. It will be used to fund a project in cancer research. Vijaya Kumar of the Department of Oral Oncology and Reconstructive Service at the institute will be the principal investigator for the project.

The aim of the project is to assess the efficacy of chemotherapy agents in the management of advanced mouth cancers in different stages.
