`BJP, RSS inseparable'

By Our Special Correspondent

CHENNAI April 6 . Derisively countering the DMK's criticism of the party's support to the controversial RSS resolution on minorities, the State BJP today said, ``BJP and RSS are inseparable.'' Addressing party workers at the launch of the BJP's golden jubilee here, the State general secretary, L.Ganesan, said the Prime Minister, A. B. Vajpayee, himself had made it abundantly clear in 1977 that he would not disassociate himself from the RSS. ``It is like asking a child to disown his mother,'' Mr.Ganesan said.

Taking a dig at the DMK president, M. Karunanidhi's decision to maintain friendship but snap alliance with the State BJP, he said it had helped the BJP realise that it had ``lasting relations'' only with the RSS and only ``political friendship'' with parties.
