A bench, comprising C.K Thakkar and S. Radhakrishnan, said that these taxis should stop operating by April 30 if they do not comply with the condition. The court further said that all the eight-year-old model three wheelers, including rickshaws and tempos should be converted into CNG by August 30. The vehicle owners violating their directive would be penalised in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act and other Acts.
