The Railway Minister, Nitish Kumar, was among the passengers stranded for about four hours following the disruption of train services on the Ambala Cantonment- Ambala city section of the Northern Railway. The Jammu Mail in which Mr. Kumar was travelling, left via Jalandhar-Pathankot after it was diverted on the down line track. The normal movement of trains was resumed after four hours.
