Bail granted to Krushi Bank vice-chairman

HYDERABAD APRIL 18 . Justice T. Ch. Surya Rao of the A.P. High Court granted bail to Pothuraju David Deena Chakravarthy, vice chairman of Krushi Bank.

The court allowed the petition seeking bail. In an elaborate order the judge took note of the fact that Chakravarty was a marketing executive in the Global Group and then joined as Marketing officer in the bank.

The petitioner was later given the post of vice chairman. The court said that he is only a salaried vice chairman. While directing the accused to furnish securities, the judge noted that this case "is distinguishable with that of other directors of the Krushi Bank who were at the helm of affairs.''
