494 cr. turnover by Thermax

Thermax has reported a turnover of Rs. 494 crores for 2001-02 against Rs. 504 crores in 2000-01. The profit before tax is higher at Rs. 30.91 crores against a loss of Rs. 10.47 crores and the profit after tax at Rs. 24.01 crores against a loss of Rs. 13.22 crores.

The chemical business registered a significant growth.
