Astana: The South African space tourist, Mark Shuttleworth, will conclude his space odyssey on Sunday morning when he lands on earth in the Kazkhak steppe, the Russian aerospace rescue services told AFP. Mr. Shuttleworth (in the picture, left) and his two fellow cosmonauts, Russian flight commander, Yury Gidzenko, and Italian engineer, Roberto Vittori, are to leave the International Space Station at 2122 GMT today to take their places onboard a Soyuz shuttle, officials said. The vessel will take off from the ISS at 0028 GMT and land on Earth in less than three and a half hours, they added. The crew are due to land at 0351 GMT near the town of Arkalyk in the north-west of the Central Asian republic of Kazakhstan. Before entering the atmosphere, a small landing capsule where the three men will have gathered will detach from the Soyuz. AFP
