IAF begins probe into MiG crash

Jalandhar May 4. A team of the Indian Air Force (IAF) today began court of inquiry into yesterday's MiG-21 crash here which left eight persons dead and 16 injured.

The fighter jet, on a training sortie, exploded in mid-air and a part of it landed on a bank building on the busy Basti Adda locality. A senior IAF official of the rank of Group Captain, who is heading the inquiry, visited the crash site.
