U.S. defence team in Pak.

ISLAMABAD May 9 . A high level U.S. defence delegation led by Tome. H. Walters, Jr. Director Defence Security Cooperation Agency called on Hamid Nawaz Khan, Secretary Defence, at Rawalpindi here today and exchanged notes on the current geo-political situation in the region. An official statement said that the Pakistan Secretary Defence briefed the U.S. delegation about the prevailing geo-political situation in the region and its implications for Pakistan. The issues pertaining to deployment of Indian armed forces on Pakistan borders and Pakistan's support extended to the U.N. efforts for peace in Afghanistan were also highlighted.
