Terrorists planning to attack Three Mile Island: report

Washington May 13. Terrorists are planning an attack against a U.S. nuclear power plant to coincide with the July 4 celebrations, The Washington Times reported today.

The paper quoted ``U.S. intelligence sources'' as saying that they were taking the threat seriously, while saying it is not wholly reliable. The report said an unidentified Islamic terrorist group was planning to attack the Three Mile Island nuclear facility in Pennsylvania, or another nuclear facility in the state or elsewhere in the Northeast.
