One killed in firing along LoC

JAMMU MAY 19. For the third day, intermittent exchange of fire continued along the Line of Control and international border on the Jammu and Kashmir frontier in which one civilian was killed and at least 11 civilians were injured.

Heavy exchange of fire including mortar shelling was going on in which one civilian was killed and at least four civilians were injured, along the LoC in Uri sector this morning.

Mortar shelling was also on in Keran sector and Gurez.

There was heavy exchange of fire last night in Hiranagar sector in which one civilian was injured.Migration was reported from forward areas along the international border, which was the most affected, and from Pansar, Mangu Chak, Londi and Shame Chak.
