Two killed in Kashmir blasts

SRINAGAR, JUNE 1. At least two persons were killed and 45 injured in three separate grenade attacks in the Kashmir valley since last night, officials said today.

A civilian, Abdul Rashid Parray, was killed and 10 including a top counter-insurgent associated with Ikhwan were injured when militants hurled a grenade at Kulgam town in Anantnag district of south Kashmir this afternoon.

The intended target of the attack was Ikhwan activist Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, who was critically injured besides 10 civilians. The injured were taken to hospital where Parray died of injuries.
