SBH sees record profit

State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), the largest associate of SBI, has achieved a record net profit of Rs. 226.49 crores (Rs.150 crores) on an income of Rs. 2,283.61 crores (Rs.1,981.86 crores), for the year ended March 2002.

Total business for the year was 17.87 per cent higher at Rs. 26,318 crores, with deposits at Rs. 17,402 crores and advances at Rs. 8,916 crores. The bank has declared a dividend of 45 per cent (35 per cent) for the year under review.
