NEW DELHI, JUNE 5. The Supreme Court today declined to pass any order on the petition filed by the Narmada Bachao Andolan for a direction to the Narmada Control Authority not to raise the height of the Sardar Sarovar dam from 90 to 95 metres without proper rehabilitation of the oustees. A two-judge vacation Bench, which declined to make any observation on the merits of the case, directed listing of the matter before another Bench, which is likely to sit on June 17.
