World convinced infiltration has stopped: Pak.

ISLAMABAD JUNE 10. Pakistan today claimed that the international community was convinced that no infiltration was taking place across the Line of Control while stating that it was ready for resumption of dialogue with India to resolve all issues.

Pakistan said that its consistent efforts to prove that no infiltration was taking place across the LoC had borne fruit. ``People are getting satisfied about Pakistan's bona fide claim'', the Foreign Office spokesman, Aziz Ahmed Khan, told presspersons here.

Pakistan has taken enough initiatives to ease tensions and it was now time to sit across the table and start a serious and result-oriented dialogue.

``And, we are ready for it'', Mr. Khan said.

As a first step towards de-escalatory measures, India should disengage forces from the borders and the LoC to their peacetime locations.

``We are not putting any pre-conditions'', he said and added that all issues had to be discussed through diplomatic channels.
