India, Pak. aware of conflict's risks: Rumsfeld

Washington June 15. After visiting India and Pakistan to firm up efforts to ease their tension, the U.S. Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, has said that both countries are aware of the risks posed by the conflict and more diplomatic talks are required to defuse the crisis.

``I think they are both sensitive to the risks and I was impressed in talking to them and I think they are both asserting leadership in a way that is positive rather than negative,'' he told reporters while flying en-route from Pakistan to Bahrain on Thursday.
