The 20-member crew of the ship, m.v. Al Bella, whose engines failed on May 29, battled for their lives in the Indian Ocean for nearly a fortnight before being rescued by a British vessel. The crew members, who included a Sri Lankan, reached the Sultan Qaboos Port in Muscat after sailing aboard the British vessel, HMS Diligence, for three to four days. The crew reached Muscat on Monday, The Gulf News said. PTI
