Kerala-Thiruvananthapuram
By Our Staff Reporter
Addressing a press conference here today, the president of the MSF, P.M. Sadiq Ali, said the UDF Government was able to make sweeping changes in the education sector, including changes in the examination pattern, scrutiny and valuation. Though these moves were started by the LDF, it had failed to implement them successfully, he added. He alleged that the SFI was opposing the reforms so as to shield the mistakes committed by the LDF during its rule. Though the SFI was still a major force on campuses, it has changed from a students' organisation to one that blindly supported the LDF, he said. The MSF will observe June 27 as `membership day' when it will organise campaigns on college campuses.
