Justice K.A. Abdul Gafoor also ordered that reports by the expert committees be filed on or before July 8. The court also directed that the counselling for the medical seats be conducted only after the reports were filed before the court. The counselling was scheduled for July 8. The directions came on a batch of eight petitions challenging the Commissioner's action in deleting as many as 17 questions. The Commissioner had deleted the questions on the ground that the questions were either vague or some of the questions had more than one answer key and that some answer keys were wrong. The Commissioner issued the order deleting the questions and awarding four marks each to all students who answered the questions on the basis of expert opinion. The experts' opinion had been sought when the Commissioner received lot of complaints on the issue.
