Jet Airways offers discount on select routes

NEW DELHI JULY 2. Close on the heels of Indian Airlines dropping fares on some of its western region routes, Jet Airways today announced special economy class rupee excursion fares on Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi and Mumbai-Indore-Mumbai routes from July 8.

Also, special economy class point-to-point fares have been announced from Visakhapatnam to Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai all via Hyderabad and vice-versa from July 1.

Air Sahara has also announced a "sixer'' limited offer scheme to frequent flyers under which it would offer six tickets to any six destinations for Rs. 25,000 which would be valid till December 20 on first-come-first-serve basis.

Till August 31, Jet Airways will offer a revised return excursion fare on the Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi sectors of Rs. 10,810, a saving of Rs. 260 on the existing excursion fare.

On the Mumbai-Indore-Mumbai sector, the airline offers a discount of Rs. 1,340 on the regular return fare.

The airline offers day return facility between the two cities.

The revised Visakhapatnam-Delhi point-to-point fare is Rs. 10,140, a saving of Rs. 800 on the existing fare. On Visakhapatnam-Kolkata sector, the new fare is Rs. 10,355, a saving of Rs. 815. On Visakhapatnam-Chennai sector, the new fare is Rs. 7,045, a saving of Rs. 530.

The Visakhapatnam-Bangalore fare has been revised to Rs. 7,095, a saving of Rs. 535. On Visakhapatnam-Mumbai sector, the new fare is Rs. 7,045, a saving of Rs. 750.

The new fares will be valid on all flights via Hyderabad, except on Hyderabad-Mumbai-Hyderabad, where it is valid only on flights 9W 452/453 and 460/457 (Hyderabad-Mumbai-Hyderabad). Stopovers are permitted on all sectors.

Passengers who have already purchased tickets for their journey can get their tickets reissued at the revised fares before commencement of journey free of charge.

Refund for difference in fares can also be collected after performing the journey, providing boarding pass and ticket jacket were submitted.
