Mongolia to honour Joshi

New Delhi July 6. India and Mongolia are expected to sign three agreements on educational cooperation during the visit of the Human Resource Development Minister, Murli Manohar Joshi, to that country beginning tomorrow.

During the five-day-visit, which is expected to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries, Dr. Joshi will have wide-ranging talks with the Mongolian Minister of Education, Science and Culture, A. Tsanjid, call on the Prime Minister, N. Enkhbayar, and also the President, N. Bagabandi.

The highlight of the visit will be the conferment of the ``Friendship Medal'' on Dr. Joshi for his contribution in promoting Indo-Mongolian cooperation and friendship. He will be first Indian to receive this honour from Mongolia. Dr. Joshi will also visit the A.B. Vajpayee School of Information and Communication Technology, the Centre of Young Inventors and the Rajiv Gandhi Vocational Training Centre.
