Khokkar new Pak. Foreign Secretary?

ISLAMABAD JULY 6. A formal announcement on the appointment of Riaz Khokkar as new Pakistan Foreign Secretary is expected soon.

Currently Pakistan's envoy to China, Mr. Khokkar is considered a hardliner on India . The post of Foreign Secretary had been lying vacant after Inam-ul-Haq was appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

An Additional Secretary in the Foreign Office and former spokesman, Riaz Muhammad Khan, has already been named successor to Mr. Khokkar in Beijing.
