Knoll to become Abbott India

MUMBAI JULY 8. Knoll Pharmaceuticals in India will now be known as Abbott India pursuant to worldwide acquisition of Knoll's Pharmaceutical business by Abbott of the U.S.

Knoll International Pvt. Ltd., a 100 per cent subsidiary of the parent company, would be renamed as Abbott Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., says a release. As an affiliate of Abbott of the U.S., the local company would widen its participation and strengthen its overall presence in the healthcare market in India. — PTI
