PM willing to relieve any Minister

By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI JULY 8. The Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, is believed to have assured the BJP president, M. Venkaiah Naidu, that he is willing to relieve any Minister Mr. Naidu may want to induct for party work at the central party office or in States.

That assurance was given at the meeting between the two late last evening, and today, continuing his discussions with the senior leaders, Mr. Naidu met the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, and the former party president, Kushabhau Thakre, earlier in the day. With this the first round of discussions are over, and tomorrow Mr. Naidu will begin the work of drawing up the list of his team mates in the party headquarters.

He indicated that the re-organisation in the party set-up would be done taking all senior leaders into confidence, and there would be no question of lack of communication between those in Government and those in the party organisation.
