By Our Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI JULY 12. The Left parties, the CPI(M), the CPI, the RSP and the Forward Bloc today held a strategy session for the Vice-Presidential elections and decided that efforts should be made for a joint Opposition candidate "acceptable to all''.

The Left party leaders, including the CPI(M) general secretary, Harkishan Singh Surjeet, CPI general secretary, A. B. Bardhan, AIFB general secretary, Debabrata Biswas, and the RSP national secretary, Abani Roy, met here for the purpose.

The Left parties felt that efforts should be made to talk to both the Congress, and others including the Samajwadi Party.
