Letters to the Editor
Sir, This refers to your report `The child and the President' (July 25). While it is true that child labour is rampant and several children are not going to school, a beginning has to be made if progress is to be achieved. The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, said ``Unless we dream, we cannot achieve''. We should give him a chance. For a positive and futuristic approach adopted by the media also would go a long way in helping our President achieve his aim.
Suraj Sundar,
J. Egbert Samraj,
