Democracy in danger

Sir, — All the institutions created for upholding democracy and providing social justice are in danger of disintegrating. From Parliament to panchayats, from the Supreme Court to district courts, from Presidential nominees to private citizens, there is utter chaos and confusion. Hope the younger generation will act in a positive way to prevent a catastrophe.

V.S. Venkatavardan,
Salem, T.N.
