``Russia and India are building up constructive interaction in bilateral and global affairs and are making a weighty contribution to maintaining and strengthening international stability,'' the Russian leader said in a telegram to the President, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, released by the Kremlin press service on Thursday. "As strategic partners, our two countries can do a lot to make the world more fair and secure.'' Three months ahead of his official visit to India, Mr. Putin predicted a further growth of Indo-Russian ties. ``Relations between Russia and India are marked by stable onward dynamics and growing political interaction and strategic partnership,'' the Russian leader said in a message to the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee. "In the past few years our countries have established a solid basis for the further growth of bilateral cooperation and joint work to resolve the pressing issues of the modern world.''
