Award for Fali Nariman

NEW DELHI
AUG. 19.
Jurist and Rajya Sabha member, Fali S. Nariman, has been selected for the Peter Gruber Foundation's Justice Prize for 2002. He was chosen by a distinguished panel of his peers for the award, which carries a purse of $ 1,50,000 and a gold medal.
He would be presented the award on September 22 this year in Richmond, VA, United States, a Foundation release said. The board, which selects the recipient, comprises Justices from Morocco, France, Canada, the U.S., India, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
